Where Nature Wears Its Rarest Colours

The Seychelles archipelago is a living Eden, where more than 50% of the land is protected and endemic species thrive. Here, you’ll encounter giant Aldabra tortoises lumbering peacefully through gardens, snorkel over vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life, and walk through ancient forests home to the Coco de Mer, the world’s largest and most mysterious seed. From UNESCO-listed Vallée de Mai on Praslin to marine parks like Sainte Anne, Seychelles promises raw, radiant nature that sparks awe and restores your soul.

Flavors of the Islands: A Culinary Love Letter

Seychelles’ food scene is a delicious blend of African, French, Indian, and Chinese influences — all served with island flair. Think grilled fish caught fresh that morning, rich coconut curries, spicy Creole sauces, and sweet fried bananas. Street food is just as enticing: try ladob, shark chutney, or a crisp samosa at a beachside stall. And don’t forget the local rum! Whether dining barefoot on the beach or savouring a candlelit dinner in a plantation house, food in Seychelles is a flavour-packed cultural experience.

History Anchored in the Ocean’s Embrace

Beneath Seychelles’ dreamy beauty lies a history as rich and fascinating as the archipelago itself. From pirate legends and colonial outposts to the legacy of Creole identity, these islands have stories to tell. Visit the capital city of Victoria to see the iconic clock tower and lively market, or explore old plantations and coral-built cathedrals. The islands of Moyenne and Curieuse even hold buried treasure myths! For curious minds, Seychelles offers more than just beauty — it offers a timeless journey through its layered past.

Best Time to Visit The Seychelles

Seychelles boasts a year-round tropical climate, with temperatures averaging 26°C to 31°C, making it ideal for travel anytime. The dry season (May to October) brings cooler winds and perfect conditions for hiking, sailing, and island hopping. The warmer, wetter season (November to April) offers lush scenery and calm seas — excellent for diving, snorkelling, and beach escapes. Rainfall is typically brief and refreshing, rarely spoiling a full day.

Cool Breezes & Outdoor Escapes

This is the southeast trade wind season — dry, breezy, and slightly cooler. Daytime temperatures hover between 24–29°C with rainfall at 50–90mm monthly. Great for hiking on Mahé’s nature trails, sailing, and enjoying the drier coastlines. It’s also whale shark season and a popular time for family travel and beach picnics.

Balanced Weather & Fewer Crowds

A transition period between trade winds, these months offer excellent weather for both land and sea activities. Rainfall is moderate (70–120mm), and temperatures stay around 25–30°C. Calm seas return, making it perfect for island hopping, scuba diving, and exploring quieter beaches before the festive rush.
